Creating Scenarios and Layers
All diagrams begin with the Overview Layer, shown on the top left. To add a Layer under Overview, click Add New Layer. This will add a Layer one level below the Overview Layer.

New layer creation
You can add another Layer below the one you just created by selecting that Layer in the "Layer Panel", then clicking "Add New Layer" again. You can hold and drag any Layer to rearrange the hierarchy.
To add a Scenario to a Layer, click on Add Scenario in the "Scenario Panel". You can add steps to the Scenario you just created by clicking on the Add Step button. Click on the pencil icon beside any Layer, Scenario, or Step to rename it.
Linking to objects
For intuitive navigation within your diagram, you can link a board object to take you directly to a Layer or Scenario when you click on it. Note, objects can only be linked to one Layer or Scenario, as only one transition can happen when that object is clicked.
In order to link an object, you must first create the Layer or Scenario to which that object will be linked. Once this is done, click on the object you intend to link and click the Link Internally button in the modifier.

Linking visuals
Once an object is linked to a Layer, you can adjust a few visual settings of the object. First, click on the object that is linked to the Layer. In the Modifier, you will notice three sets of buttons.

Linking visuals
The top two buttons are for all objects, while the Normal/Portal button is only available if the object is linked to a layer. If Portal is selected, you will be able to see a preview of the linked Layer inside the object.
